The Lords of the Underworld series is about a group of immortal warriors who had made a huge mistake a long time ago. They were jealous because they weren't chosen to guard the Pandora's box that contained the evils of the world. The box was opened, and in the middle of the madness, Maddox killed the one chosen to guard the box. Now the warriors carry the evil inside themselves. Demons such as Pain, Violence, Death, Disease, Disaster, Misery, Doubt, Promiscuity, Defeat, Lies, Secrets, and Wrath. Many more demons were unleashed... and as the series go on, secrets unfold and the warriors will know who holds the other demons.
Their enemies are called the Hunters, and they are supposedly following an Angel. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I'll say that the leaders of their enemy will turn out to be people that they know.

I love all the Lords and each of them have great stories. I also love the secondary characters such as the harpies, you'll meet them starting with Sabin's book. I also love one specific minor goddess because she's funny and awesome!
I suggest people read this series because it's really great. The characters are great and there are a lot of things going on and the books just keep you on your toes and keep you wanting more! This is one of my favorite series of all time and once you start reading it you'll understand.
